Spinnaker Photo- Alberg 30 Flying her Asy Spinnaker

Our Sal under sail in 2011, making good headway with cruising spinnaker.

  1. We don't really "race" Sal, Diego. She was purchased with the intention of slowing down our lifestyle and relaxing. Her spinnaker is for use in lighter winds to help keep her moving as we cruise areas of Bay that in the dog days of summer frequently have very little wind to speak of.
However, for years professionally my husband built racing engines for cars that would make most people shit their pants and therefore can't help wanting to race anything that moves. He and a friend will occasionally have single-handers' races in the bay just for fun.
Hope that helps you : )
