So far the shelter has been doing its job! Our Alberg 30 is staying dry. A bit of drifting snow is finding its way onto her decks but for the most part, nice and dry.
I've also added a bit of light for when the weather warms up. I will be able to work into the evening and night time hours, this will really help with refit progress.
Until next time, stay warm!
The cover looks good. If only I had the space, it would be great for doing deck work like re-bedding hardware. :-)
ReplyDeleteDan the beauty of this type of design is that you can build it to any size you need. If you built a very narrow one that stayed very close to the sides of the boat you might just be able to pull it off.
ReplyDeleteI am going to enclose the end here soon. The boat does get a bit of moisture blown onto her from wind but 99% of the time it is dry. Hopefully enclosing the end will eliminate the water/snow completely. If you are interested I can provide you with the webites I ordered the parts from.
Good Luck
As I look at the options for tents, I'm starting to seriously consider this one you used. I think it'll be helpful to get the websites that you used.
ReplyDeleteI at least have a few places to check out when I move to VA for storing my boat. I hope one of them turns out well.
